Welcome to Clixly ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, including your name, email address, profile photo, prompts and any content you generate or upload. Uploads, references, creations, profile data and purchase records are linked to your account. We also collect device and operating system information, app interactions, operation timings and error codes. Google Analytics derives general location from masked IP addresses; these features do not request precise device location.
When you use the AI Avatar feature, you voluntarily upload photos of yourself (including photos containing your face) for the purpose of training a personal AI portrait model.

These services receive the data needed for their respective functions. Their processing and retention are subject to their applicable terms and privacy policies. We do not claim that data sent to a provider is immediately erased after a request.
Before uploading content for AI processing, the app asks you to agree to sharing photos, references, prompts and generated media with the providers described here. Google Gemini creates images and checks content, BytePlus Seedance creates videos, and fal.ai trains and runs optional personal avatars. Avatar training requires a separate agreement. Public profile submissions are also checked by Google Gemini before publication.
Photos, reference images, prompts and generated media are processed by our AI service providers, including Google Gemini API, to create requested results and check compliance with our Community Guidelines. Submitted creator content may also be reviewed by our moderation team. References and creations may be stored to provide app features. Provider processing and retention are governed by their applicable terms. We do not use effect photos to train shared AI models; optional personal avatar training is described below.
When you use the AI Avatar feature, the selfie photos you upload are transmitted to FAL.ai to train a personal AI portrait model using the FLUX LoRA portrait trainer. The trained model is stored on FAL.ai's infrastructure so that avatar photos can be generated on demand.
Apple's App Store Guidelines require us to provide detailed disclosure about face data handling. This section addresses those requirements.
What face data is collected: When you use the AI Avatar feature (which is optional and requires explicit user initiation), you upload between 5 and 20 selfie photographs containing your face. These photos are used to train a personal AI portrait model.
Purpose of collection: Face data (your selfie photos) is collected solely to train and operate your personal AI avatar model. The model generates stylised portrait images of you on demand. Face data is never used for advertising, analytics, or any purpose other than creating your avatar.
Third-party sharing: Your avatar training photos are transmitted to fal.ai to train your personal portrait model, and to Google Gemini for content checks. Provider handling and retention follow their applicable terms. Clixly does not use these photos to train a shared or public model.
On-device vs. off-device processing: Avatar model training is performed off-device on FAL.ai's servers. The trained model (a LoRA weights file) is stored on FAL.ai's cloud storage and accessed by our servers when generating avatar images.
Data retention: Uploaded photos, generated portraits and model references are linked to your account and retained to operate the feature. New training archives use private storage and expiring links. Provider copies and personal model weights may remain on provider infrastructure until their cleanup has completed. Archiving an avatar hides it and retains its data; deleting an avatar requests removal of its photos, generated portraits and personal model.
How to delete: Use Delete Avatar on the avatar screen, or Profile → Account Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. Access is removed immediately and cleanup is queued. A deletion receipt lets you check progress after signing out. We retry temporary failures and show when provider cleanup still needs verification; a request is not marked complete while required cleanup remains unresolved.
Face data is not used for:
We retain account-linked uploads, reference images, generated results and profile data to provide your saved creations and other app features. Account deletion disables access immediately. File cleanup begins after outstanding upload links expire, normally after about two hours; temporary failures are retried. Provider cleanup can take longer, and the receipt shows unresolved requests. We retain limited payment and legal records where required. Aggregated statistics that no longer identify you may remain.

Open Profile → Account Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. This requests removal of your account data, uploads, saved results, creator content and avatar models. Sign in with Apple authorization is revoked as part of cleanup; you may be asked to verify with Apple. Keep your deletion receipt until completion. Deleting the app or archiving an avatar does not delete your account. App Store or Google Play subscriptions must be cancelled separately through the store.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure token storage, and access controls. All data transmitted to third-party AI providers (Google Gemini API and FAL.ai) is sent over encrypted TLS connections. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Clixly is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where required, by in-app notification.
